The recipe has been perfected by Gareth over the years and we’re all really proud of it here at LYL! Gareth Roberts grew up on Tal Y Bryn farm, the farm nestles outside the small village of Llannefydd (The famous ‘Llan’ in our name) with striking views of the North Wales coast and the dramatic Clwydian hills. The perfect setting for a farmer to develop his talents. As a young man Gareth was forever thinking of ways to experiment with his 50 acre farm. He and Falmai both attended courses to extend their knowledge of food production and business, looking to diversify in tough times. A small milk round was acquired supplying the local village and surrounding areas in the early 80’s to increase income coming into the farm.
