<p>The exciting vision of Matt and Rachel, Hoe Made Acre is a vibrant market garden on the Cornish slopes of the Tamar Valley. Growing food in a way that nurtures the land and nourishes the belly. We provide a range of colourful, seasonal produce which has been grown without the use of chemical pesticides or herbicides. We apply horticultural techniques that build healthy soils and work alongside natural processes. We love growing, preparing and sharing food!<br></p>

<div>Old Solomons farm is in the heart of the Tamar Valley right beside the river Tamar where I raise a small flock of Jacob and Teeswater sheep along with a few South Devon cows. I manage the land and animals in a regenerative wildlife friendly way. The land has a variety of rich habitats of hay meadow, hedgerows, mixed orchard, marshy grassland, streams and woodland. I am adding to the biodiversity and habitats with a number of tree planting and woodland regeneration projects.&nbsp;</div><div>I sell hogget (between 1 and 2 year old) and lamb (under 1 year old) in small batches and will also have organically cured sheep skins available in the future.</div>
